What Changed? - Mini Article Published Now

After “the most important election in history,” what have the results really changed?

Not God: "For I am the LORD, I do not change” (Malachi 3:6). Not Jesus Christ: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Not The Holy Spirit’s Bible: “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).

Not the Gospel of Salvation: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16).

Not God’s Authority Over Government: “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God” (Romans 13:1).

Not the church of Christ: “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

Who Elected Our President? - Mini Article

'The LORO brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever. The plans of His heart to all generations" (Psalm 33:10-11). Have you notced how “peace treaties,” “global initiatives,” and megalomaniacs all fade out and fall apart? There is no power organization of "globalists" that God wll allow to take over His world, for it is God Who “removes kings and raises up kings" (Daniel 2:21). As King David wrote: “The earth is the LORD'S. and all its fulness, The world and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1). While we think, by politics and elections, we grant power, the government’s power is “given you from above!” (John 19:11). A government that recognizes and protects “unalienable rights” that come from God, is best for all concerned! - October 20, 2020

Trump Praises CoC Disaster Relief Effort

Standing amid rows of boxes bearing the words “Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort,” President Donald Trump talked Friday to survivors of this week’s tornadoes in Middle Tennessee and expressed sorrow for the victims.

Trump visited the gym of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, which church members converted into a relief center just hours after an EF-4 tornado tore through their community 80 miles east of Nashville about 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Addressing the media, President Trump said:

“Even all of this — Churches of Christ — tremendous amounts of food and goods, and it all came within a matter of hours,” Trump said. “So it’s a case study — a case study of what should be done and how it can be done. It’s Tennessee.”
