The first “Earth Day” was April 22, 1970. Its Founder, then- Senator Gaylord Nelson said: “If we could tap into the environmental concerns of the general public and infuse the student anti-war energy into the environmental cause, we could generate a demonstration that would force this issue onto the political agenda.” (http://earthday.envirolink.org/history.html)
In 2000, it became an international campaign, focused on global warming and clean energy alternatives. How arrogant are humans who claim they can “save the world?” The Earth is not ours to save. It was: "... The living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them." (Acts 14:15)
Solomon said, "One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever." (Ecclesiastes 1:4)
The Earth doesn’t need saving, but people do! Jesus said, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mark 16:16)

The World-wide Winter of 2014 set frigid, lower temperature records than have ever been recorded. That showed no “Global Warming/Climate Change,” certainly not on this globe! Including these exceptionally-cold temperatures, world-wide climate experienced normal, seasonal changes, just as God decreed after the Flood in Noah’s day:
“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease" (Genesis 8:22).
A “witness” that God exists is that He “gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons” (Acts 14:17). God’s decree has stood the tests of time and falsified interpretation of weather data! Scientific, observable facts have established that God is right, and the propaganda for a political power grab has not been! “Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). - December 2, 2019
