In the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam not to partake of forbidden fruit, because “in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17). It was “the serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan” (Revelation 12:9) who contradicted God when he said, “You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4). On the Pentecost after Jesus’ resurrection, God’s Apostles commanded: "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). Those who believed that command was “God’s plan of Salvation” were the Holy Spirit, the Apostles, and those who obeyed it. Only the Devil would say: “Believing that Acts 2:38 is God’s Plan of Salvation will take you straight to Hell!” - November 15, 2021
