In the beginning, “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27). Thus humans were made “in the image of God” but physically distinguishable as “male and female.” Sin and corruption caused God’s world-wide flood in Noah’s day (Genesis 7-9) and it was through Noah, his three sons and their wives that God started humanity, again. Every human born on earth is “in the image of God,” either male or female, and capable of choosing to sin. God scattered people over the earth by confusing languages at the tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). The Gospel of Christ was preached in different “native languages” (Acts 2:5-12). Christ saves those of the human “race” who obey (Mark 16:15-16). Sin, not “skin,” is the “racial problem.” - July 13, 2020
